Primary Responsibilities:
- Open new share accounts (savings, checking, money market, certificate, commercial, organizational, and benefit accounts like individual retirement and health savings accounts, trust accounts, estate, custodial, and guardianship accounts)
- Evaluate member needs by asking appropriate questions and listening carefully to refer members to appropriate products and services
- Represent the Credit Union to members in a friendly, positive, and professional manner
- Provide prompt, efficient, confidential, and accurate service in the processing of transactions
- Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints, and/or direct them to proper person for assistance and resolution
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record in customer service
- Proficiency in basic computer, data entry, and typing skills
- A positive attitude, professional image, and self-motivation are essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include a Saturday rotation
