What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Lab Technician position at WestCoast Digital Denture and Implant Center?
This position requires working in our office in Hood River as well as our office in The Dalles.
WestCoast is looking for a Dental Lab Technician to manage our dental laboratory. You can expect to work with 3D printing and digital dental milling technology as well as CAD/CAM software. Your role is a hands on position that requires the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, attentive to detail, and has great communication skills. This position requires the applicant to work Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This position may be able to support a part-time employee in the right situation.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and repair dental prostheses, such as full dentures, partial dentures, and implant dentures.
- Follow case specifications accurately.
- Operate and maintain dental lab equipment, including CAD/CAM systems.
- Perform custom shading and characterization of dental prosthetics.
- Ensure all dental prosthetics meet quality standards and fit specifications.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other team members to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental materials and technologies.
Skills:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret dental prescriptions and specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computers
- Organized & self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
