Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Low Voltage Technician based in Tampa, FL. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including electrical and communication equipment. Daily tasks include equipment setup, system integration, wiring, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues effectively.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with low voltage systems is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or related educational background preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Security Camera installation/ programming experience is a plus
- Access Controls installation/ programming experience is a plus
- Security Alarm System installation/ programming is a plus
- Fiber optic cable splicing and terminating is a plus
