Professors teach all skill areas and levels in the intensive English program. In addition to reviewing and designing program curriculum and materials, professors prepare class assignments and evaluate learning outcomes. If you are looking for an opportunity to use your skills and the opportunity to work with a global student body with a footprint in over 100 countries and have a dedication to quality accessible education, Westcliff University is for you.Job Description: Under the direction of the head of the REAL program, you will engage in the following:Reviewing and designing course syllabus and corresponding materialsFacilitating class instruction utilizing your experience and passion for your fieldTeaching your assigned classes in accordance with Westcliff University's learning objectives and session plan outlinesEvaluating student performance based on course deliverables and rubricsPosting assignment grades on our Learning Management System (LMS)Providing detailed timely feedbackSubmitting grades for assignments, discussion board exercises, exams, and discussions promptlyAdhering to Westcliff University protocols and the faculty handbookOther duties as assignedRequirements:Qualifications/Requirements:Master’s in TESOL or a related field from a regionally or internationally accredited institutionWill consider Bachelor’s degrees with a TESOL certificate with 120 hours or more ofinstructionExperience teaching online, on-campus, or in hybrid formatThree years experience teachingDemonstrated commitment to teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgroundsHours: Monday through Thursday 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.*LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
