- Perform thorough patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication administration.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) to document patient information meticulously and ensure seamless medical documentation.
- Assist with complex procedures including , and sterile processing techniques while maintaining aseptic technique standards.
- Manage post op care
- Coordinate discharge planning and verbal explanation of the aftercare
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing,
- Provide patient education post-op
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across hospital medicine units or outpatient clinics to deliver holistic patient-centered care aligned with NCQA standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Proven experience in Epic or Cerner EMR/EHR systems with strong medical documentation skills.
- Expertise in specialized areas such as cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), ophthalmology (including botulinum toxin treatment), or neurocritical care (PICU/Neonatal ventilator).
- Skilled in performing IV insertions, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and catheter care with precision and aseptic technique.
- Knowledge of ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation; CPT coding for procedures is a plus.
- Experience working in various settings like hospital emergency rooms (ER), intensive care units (ICU), trauma centers (Level I & II), or outpatient clinics such as urgent care or occupational health.
- Familiarity with infection control practices and laboratory procedures essential for safe patient handling.
- Ability to assess patients’ physiological status through vital signs monitoring and physical examinations; adept at triage in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for individuals with disabilities; capable of providing compassionate dementia & Alzheimer's care or memory support. and dedicated to excellence!
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
