Position: Parts Counter Specialist
As a key team member, you’ll support both the service department and our customers by managing parts orders, assisting with rentals, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in-person and over the phone.
- Order and manage parts inventory for repairs, customer needs, and equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrate equipment and explain product features and benefits.
- Prepare rental agreements and process payments accurately.
- Coordinate equipment reservations, deliveries, and returns.
- Inspect and maintain rental equipment for safety and performance.
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized parts and rental counter area.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely part availability and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on new products, parts, and equipment trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
- Prior experience in equipment rentals, customer service, or parts ordering is preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with rental or inventory software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if applicable).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
