Compensation is $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Providing stimulating companionship, supervision, and socialization.
- Preparing meals, if needed.
- Taking the client for a walk, helping with exercises, accompanying on errands, or a medical appointment, if appropriate.
- Engaging in activities such as playing cards, games, crafts, and looking at photos.
- Reading to clients, listening to music, and watching television together.
- Report any unusual events or problem to the family and to Project Time-Out.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in communicating, reading, and writing in English or the client's primary language
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, kindness, and dependability
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality
- HS Diploma or GED
