We are seeking a Social Worker to join our Jewish Programs team for 20-30 hours per week. This position offers a pay rate of $37/hour.

We are seeking a Social Worker to join our Jewish Programs team for 20-30 hours per week. This position offers a pay rate of $37/hour.
Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining contact with rabbis, executive directors, and other essential staff in partnering synagogues.
- Working to increase the number of synagogues served.
- Meeting the programmatic and individual needs of synagogues either through referral to other Jewish Programs staff, WJCS staff or by direct provision of services.
- Treating clients individually, in families, and in groups.
- Maintaining data and records of client related contacts as required, including e-mail, telephone, telehealth and in-person contacts as necessary.
- Conducting training programs and workshops for synagogue and WJCS staff.
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work.
- Ability to work with all ages, individuals, families and groups.
- Thorough knowledge of the Jewish Community in Westchester.
- Thorough knowledge of Jewish culture.
- Familiarity with Westchester-based resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented with experience working within interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to travel between synagogue locations using personal transportation.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs.
