This is a PART-TIME position for Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Our hours on Monday, Thursday, and Friday are 9-5, and on Saturday, 9-3.

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Treatment Coordinator, a vital role dedicated to enhancing patient care and streamlining clinical operations. In this energetic and engaging position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment plans, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments efficiently using medical office management software like Dentrix while managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining a well-organized front desk.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits through insurance portals such as Athenahealth or other third-party payers; confirm eligibility for Medicare or Medicaid programs.
- Assist patients with understanding their treatment options by explaining care plans clearly and addressing questions.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards.
- Ensure smooth clinic operations by managing intake procedures, verifying insurance claims, processing payments when applicable, and assisting with office management duties.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster a welcoming environment for all patients.
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for safeguarding patient information.
- Ability to review documentation accurately and efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of insurance verification procedures

Pay: $32.00 per hour
