ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Seasonal Snack Bar Supervisor to join our Beach Club Culinary Team. This position is responsible for overseeing the food preparation and staff operations for all Beach operation outlets for lunch and dinner service.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Train and schedule staff on customer service, food safety, cleaning and order processing and opening/closing procedures
- Oversee snack bar operations, including menu planning, food preparation, serving and facility setup
- Collect food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation
- Prepare food items according to standard recipes
- Consistently utilize safe and sanitary food handling practices

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience in food service, retail or supervisory role(s); and kitchen operations preferred
- Up to date Food Handlers / Sanitation License preferred OR clear understanding and commitment to impeccable Sanitation practices
- Minimum age requirement: 16 per NYS Department of Labor Minor Law guidelines
- Provide excellent service to Members and Guests
- Adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures
- Ability to follow standard recipes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule throughout summer season, including weekends and holidays
- Able to move quickly and multitask in a high stress/high pressure environment (Heat and Action)
- Frequent Standing for extended periods of time
- Frequent Walking to collect or deliver goods in various kitchens or reception areas
- Regular lifting, excellent physical fitness, visual acuity and sense of smell to work in Kitchen safely
PAY RANGE
$21.00 - $24.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
