LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - LPN
Job Summary
The Arc Westchester, a leading non-profit social service agency in Westchester County, NY is seeking for a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to work independently within a group home setting providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide LPN nursing services in the residences assigned.
- Promote good health, prevent illness and ensure needed medical care is provided to individuals living in agency residences.
- The LPN provide direct and on-call services as well as coordinating and managing of individuals’ healthcare.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a NYS license as a Practical Nurse - LPN;
- 3-5 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Needs to be a self starter with strong nursing skills.
- Kind and compassionate, willing to work and collaborate with the team.
