Westbury Toyota is seeking a BDC Receptionist. The BDC Receptionist is a dynamic and driven individual responsible for engaging with customers who come in for vehicle service, identifying their needs, and offering them the opportunity to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. This role will work closely with both the service and sales teams to create seamless customer experiences that result in increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties
- Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails and online inquiries providing accurate information about service options and scheduling appointments.
- Coordinate service appointments efficiently, confirm scheduled visits and ensure customer preferences are accommodated.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions in the dealership’s CRM system, including updates on appointment statuses and follow-ups.
- Conduct pro-active outreach to customers for service reminders, promotions and satisfaction follow-ups to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
- Partner with service advisors and department staff to ensure seamless customer experiences, including preparation for appointments and addressing customer concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be Bi-lingual in Spanish, highly desirable for effective communication with a diverse customer base.
- Proficient in using CRM software.
- Previous experience in telephone sales or business development is preferred but not required; knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Must have reliable transportation.
