Position: Automotive Technician – Entry Level / Express Lane

Full-Time Opportunity
📅 Schedule: Monday – Saturday - 5-day work week
💰 Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, including:

  • Oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, brake services

  • Transmission, differential, and transfer case services

  • Key fob programming, software updates, and NY State inspections

  • Reset vehicle indicator and warning lights

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

• Collaborate with parts department for required components

• Document all performed and recommended work on repair orders

• Conduct vehicle road tests as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and shop area

• Ensure all dealership tools and manuals are properly maintained

• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal

• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and technical updates

• Assist and mentor apprentice technicians as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in automotive repair and maintenance

• Ability to learn manufacturer procedures and product knowledge

• Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

• Valid driver’s license
