🚗 Position Overview

The Parts Advisor / Parts Counterperson assists internal service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale clients by identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts and accessories while supporting the daily operations of the dealership parts department.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with automotive parts selection and sales
• Identify and specify correct OEM and aftermarket parts
• Maintain strong customer service at the parts counter and over the phone
• Process parts orders, invoices, and sales transactions
• Manage cores, warranty claims, and returned merchandise
• Track special orders and backordered parts
• Follow up with customers when parts arrive for pickup
• Cross-sell additional parts and accessories
• Maintain a clean, organized parts department
• Assist with inventory management and stocking
• Attend manufacturer training and product knowledge sessions

• Prior dealership or automotive parts experience required
• Knowledge of automotive parts catalogs and inventory systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Saturday and Sunday availability required

💰 Compensation

• $19.00 – $22.50 per hour
• Commission and bonus opportunities
