Job Description

Under general supervision, our grocery associate helps maintain a smooth-running grocery department by stocking and maintaining grocery displays, while assisting customers with grocery related needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Stocks and rotates grocery merchandise to assure quality and freshness
• Maintains a current knowledge of product
• Takes inventory of back stock and floor merchandise
• Ensures all displays and shelves have appropriate signage and assists in making signs when needed
• Maintains a clean and organized work area free of hazards
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
• Ability to bend, lift, and reach in repetition

Physical Demands and Work Environment
