Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Service heavy equipment mechanics and diesel engines while adhering to safety standards for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and air brake systems.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs such as automotive electrical systems and mechanical systems repair.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to the road.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components.
• Ability to read schematics and utilize automotive diagnostics tools effectively.
• Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, ADAS calibration, air brake systems, and alignment procedures.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a passion for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid mechanic license or certification is preferred; experience working on GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
