Description
Shreveport Company looking for an experienced
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Mon-Fri, $14.00-$16.00 Hourly
Responsibilities for shipping / receiving
- Retrieve requested products from warehouse
- Input all shipments into the computer
- Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor
- Count items to ensure that the correct number have been received
- Match order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformity
- Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts
- This is primarily a shipping and receiving position that will be regularly, operating pallet jacks (both powered and non powered) and entering data into a computer
- Unload shipments throughout the day that come in daily
Qualifications for shipping / receiving
- Willingness to learn systems
- Count and order skids, boxes, pkg
- Label materials
- Collect paperwork on closed orders
- Knowledge of or experience with warehouse equipment operation (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Order Picker)
