AI/ML Engineer (LLMs | AI Agents | RAG | Model Hosting)
Our client is building the next generation of AI-powered compliance software used by regulators and organizations across the supply chain, including manufacturers, distributors, logistics providers, and retailers. They’re looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to help define and build the AI platform that will power the next generation of their products.
This is an opportunity to move beyond simply consuming AI APIs. You’ll help architect the infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling that enable engineering teams to build intelligent applications at scale.
What You’ll Be Building
- Self-hosted large language model (LLM) deployments and supporting infrastructure.
- AI agent frameworks and multi-agent workflows.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Internal AI platforms and developer tooling that allow engineering teams to easily leverage AI capabilities.
- Chat experiences and intelligent copilots for internal and customer-facing applications.
- AI orchestration frameworks that enable scalable, reusable AI services across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience deploying and managing self-hosted/open-source LLMs.
- Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures.
- Experience creating reusable AI services, SDKs, APIs, or internal developer platforms.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as: Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft.Extensions.AI
- Experience evaluating AI model performance, observability, and optimization.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with production application experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in highly regulated industries.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS products.
- Background with .NET/C#.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.
This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel. Our client is headquartered in Florida and is currently considering candidates residing in the Southeast and Central U.S.
