Project Management Analyst Intern
Basic Job Function
Project Management Analyst Intern plays a vital role in supporting project teams and technical staff with a focus on project support and administrative assistance. This position assists in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and communication platforms, ensuring smooth project execution. Additionally, this role provides critical administrative support for internal and external client communications and coordinates with sub-consultants to ensure all project objectives are met. This role offers the opportunity to Apply AI and automation tools to real-world project workflows, improve efficiency across reporting, documentation, and coordination processes, and help shape modern, scalable project operations. The Project Management Analyst Intern works closely with Project Management Specialist to maintain quality control, streamline workflows, and contribute to the success of each project from initiation to completion.

Project Support
- Support project teams in achieving project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Support Project Management Specialist in workload planning and forecasting for project teams.
- Support the development and update of project schedules and be responsible for informing team members of schedule challenges.
- Review project budgets, alerting Project Management Specialist of any potential shortfalls.
- Prepare monthly invoices and progress reports for Project Management Specialist’s review.
- Update and maintain project communication platforms, such as SharePoint and file-sharing sites.
- Develop templates, workflows, and controls in support of QA/QC procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI assistants
- Support automation of:
- Reporting workflows
- Data validation and recurring tasks
- Develop and maintain repeatable, scalable workflows
Required Education and/or Experience
- 0-1 year experience in project support
- Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with interest in leveraging automation or AI tools to improve workflows.
- Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to effectively support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.
- Ability to be organized, accurate, and timely.
- Highly developed document and graphic imagery editing and technical writing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and internal and external collaboration.
- Strong personal initiative.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in professional services firm.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools beyond basic usage (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity, automate tasks, or enhance analysis
