What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Learning Support Teacher Aides (Elementary and Secondary) position at West York Area School District?
Job Summary:
- Assist with clerical and instructional duties, including projecting a positive image for the district.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but may not be limited to):
- Assist in the supervision and teaching of individuals and groups participating in developmental and instructional activities designed by the teacher.
- Assist the teacher in fostering readiness and socialization skills deemed necessary for later academic success.
- Prepare instructional materials, as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of student progress charts.
- Assist with promoting safety practices, building and classroom rules, and in situations of illness or injury.
- Attend training as dictated by the supervisor
- Perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by the Principal, or designee.

Schedule (times may vary depdning on building and location):
- 7:30a-3:00p; 8:15 am -3:45 pm; or 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Compensation: In accordance with the support agreement.
