West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) to oversee clinical operations during the evening shift. This leadership role is ideal for a registered nurse who is passionate about long-term care, team development, and delivering high-quality resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director and Associate Director of Nursing to support daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain exceptional standards of resident care
Monitor staffing levels and make real-time adjustments to ensure safe coverage
Conduct routine rounds to evaluate care quality and address concerns
Assist with state surveys, inspections, and regulatory audits
Participate in the development and implementation of resident care and discharge plans
Address staff concerns professionally and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Welcome and assist residents and families during the admissions process
Accompany physicians during resident rounds and oversee medication and treatment administration
Provide direct nursing care and perform assessments as needed
Participate in staff evaluations and support the professional development of nursing team members
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active, unrestricted Florida RN or LPN license
Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, geriatric, or restorative nursing
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
Current CPR certification
