What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lacrosse Graduate Assistant position at West Virginia Wesleyan College?
The GA Lacrosse Coach is a part-time position responsible for assisting with all phases of an NCAA Division II Lacrosse program including player training and development and other duties as assigned by the Head Lacrosse Coach. The position will begin in August 2026 and includes tuition remission, meal plan, on-campus housing, and a $3,200 stipend.

- Ability to assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive lacrosse development program
- Contribute to a competitive, supportive, and development focused team environment.
- Provide hands-on instruction and supervision and safety during training sessions.
- Stay up to date on latest trends and best practices in lacrosse.
- Provide support during team practices, games, and competitions.
- Organized and responsible for all clerical duties as assigned in a timely manner.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Athletic Department.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Applicants must obtain acceptance in a WV Wesleyan College graduate program.
- CPR/AED certified.
- Applicant must be able to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends/holidays)
- Previous collegiate lacrosse experience at the D1 or D2 level.
