What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Hybrid) Temporary Health Relations Educator - Division for Land-Grant Engagemen position at West Virginia University?
The Extension Department at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Health Relations Educator. We are seeking motivated, community-focused professionals to join our team to deliver relationship education programming to adults across West Virginia through a partnership with the Department of Human Services.
This is a temporary opportunity ideal for individuals with experience in community outreach and program facilitation.
What You'll Do
- Deliver identified program curriculum that promotes healthy relationships
- Travel independently to program sites in Lincoln and participating surrounding counties (valid driver's license required)
- Maintain program materials and supplies
- Document program participation
- Assist with survey data collection
Pay Grade: 10
Length of Assignment: 6 Months
Work Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
- High School Diploma with evidence of training related to child development &/or parent engagement
- A minimum of six months of experience involving:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, and standard technology platforms
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to travel extensively, including possible overnight stays
