Assists in providing necessary protection, safety, coding and decoration of hospital as well as assists skilled and/or general in completing their tasks and performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Must have valid driver's license.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma/GED.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Five (5) years of commercial painting experience.


CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Conducts regular rounds of all areas of the hospital, office building, and support service buildings to identify needs for repair of paint, walls, and wall coverings.
2. Paints, patches and repairs wall coverings as required.
3. Inspects and maintains safety markings on curbs and cross walks at least annually
4. Maintains painting materials and equipment in good operating condition
5. Maintains an appropriate inventory of paint and supplies and obtains pricing for items to be ordered.
6. Will be required to assist other facility related positions and special work teams when necessary.
7. Has access to, and is responsible for, performing assigned duties in locked medication rooms. This position is aware that they are not responsible for medications and should report any unsecured medications to a licensed professional.
8. Works with management to develop procedures and controls designed to assure safe use, storage and handling of painting supplies.

1. Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
3. Ability to climb and work off of ladders, scaffolding or electric lifts and operate basic manual cleaning equipment

5. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows correct chain of command in handling challenges and issues, including crisis situations.

6. Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care, including variances in human resources.

7. Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to follow attendance/ punctuality/ timecard system/scheduling policies.

8. Demonstrate knowledge of parking/hospital department locations.
9. Demonstrate knowledge and adheres to dress code.
10. Demonstrates knowledge of CCMC Compliance Program/Code of Conduct/Confidentiality.
11. Demonstrates knowledge of CCMC Emergency Management Plan.
12. Demonstrates knowledge of physical health/wellness information and Exposure Control Plan
13. Demonstrates knowledge of Office/workplace safety.

14. Demonstrates knowledge of Risk Management/Occurrence Report Practices/Non-punitive Work Environment.
