Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will manage reservations, greet guests, and ensure smooth seating arrangements, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently.
- Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the restaurant
- Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Keep the host stand organized and presentable at all times
- Assist with guest services, including accommodating special requests and providing menus
- Support hospitality efforts by creating a positive first impression for all guests
Skills
- Prior experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous restaurant experience, including guest services and serving, is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
