Job Title: Temporary, Part-Time File Clerk (February – April 2026)
Hours: 10 hours per week
Rate: $12-15/hour based on experience
Location: Downtown Charleston (Brooks and Lee Streets)
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable File Clerk to support our administrative team by scanning, organizing, and uploading documents to a shared digital file system. This is a part-time, temporary position ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks and values accuracy in recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
· Scan paper documents into digital format using provided equipment
· Organize and label files according to established naming conventions
· Upload scanned documents to shared folders for team access
· Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and copy machine/scanner
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Prior experience in clerical or administrative support preferred but not required
Background check is required, since some of the files are sensitive in nature.
