MORNING SHOW HOST – Charleston, WV
Are you passionate about Classic Country music? Do you thrive behind the microphone and love connecting with your community? If so, Superstar Country 96-1 KWS, Charleston's Classic Country station, has an exciting opportunity for you.
WVRC Media is seeking an energetic, engaging, and driven morning show host to join our award-winning team in the state's capital city. We're looking for someone who can entertain listeners, create memorable on-air moments, and build genuine relationships throughout the community.
What You'll Do:
- Host a fun, fast-paced live morning show
- Engage listeners through phone calls, social media, and digital content
- Represent Superstar Country 96-1 KWS at community events and station appearances
- Produce creative commercial content
- Voice-track programming for other WVRC Media stations as opportunities arise
What We're Looking For:
- Previous on-air radio experience
- Strong knowledge of and passion for the Classic Country format
- Excellent communication and social media skills
- Experience with WideOrbit Automation, VoxPro, Adobe Audition, and PromoSuite is preferred
