Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Food Service Worker to be a part of our amazing team!
This position assists in the preparation and serving of food to patients admitted to a 110-bed psychiatric hospital. Duties include peeling and slicing raw fruit and vegetables, preparing food trays, and delivering them to each unit for the patients who are unable to eat in the dining room. Operates the dish cleaning machine, cleans tables and chairs in the dining room.
This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.
Candidate must successfully pass a background screening.
