Description:
GEAR UP Local Coordinators
Salary: Site Coordinators will receive $800 per month compensation for work completed
Effective Dates: July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027
Funding: GEAR UP Partnership Grant

Job Summary:
1. Coordinate GEAR UP activities throughout the 2026-27 school year. Duties include arrangement and facilitation of college and career visits, guest speakers, parent education events, community education events, and school-wide collaboration to encourage post-secondary success for students. Site Coordinators must log 30 hours of work beyond their normal job duties.

Qualifications:
1. Must have a current West Virginia certificate in school counseling. (Other certificates may be considered, if needed)
2. Should work in the same building
3. Experience as a GEAR UP Site Coordinator preferred
4. Experience with work plans and Budget management preferred
