The Title I Interventionist will provide targeted, supplemental instruction to at-risk students struggling in reading and math. The interventionist will use data-driven assessments to track growth, deliver small-group instruction, and collaborate with classroom teachers to help students meet state educational standards. The primary goal is to close the achievement gap for underperforming students.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Targeted Instruction: Deliver direct, evidence-based interventions in reading/language arts and mathematics to individuals or small groups.
Data Analysis & Assessment: Administer diagnostic and screening assessments to identify qualifying students. Continuously monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
Collaboration: Meet regularly with general education teachers to align interventions with core classroom instruction and curriculum goals.
Program Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation required by federal Title I regulations to ensure continued funding.
Family Engagement: Communicate student progress to parents and guardians and provide resources or strategies to support learning at home.
