Substitute Secretary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or be continually enrolled in a GED program working toward successful completion
• Pass appropriate classification test
• Must provide verification of successful completion of First Aid/CPR program- official card not required
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
• The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Additional Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year
Salary: Based on the 2025-2026 salary scale
