- Holds "Carpenter", "Glazier" and "General Maintenance" classifications.
- Verified work experience as a carpenter and glazier.
- Holds or qualifies for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A

Responsibilities: Carpenter/ Roofer/ General Maintenance Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties:
Work Habits: Carpenter/Roofer General Maintenance Employee shall exhibit the following work habits:
- To perform general carpentry tasks as directed.
- To assist skilled maintenance employees and perform minor repairs to equipment and buildings.
- To respond to emergency situations as required.
- To perform the physical demands of the position, as necessary, in an effective and efficient manner.
- To inspect and maintain safety and efficiency for all county roofs.
- To recommend maintenance, repair, and replacement for roofs.
- To install, repair, fabricate and maintain roofs gutters, flashing and duct work for heating and ventilation.
- To perform general maintenance tasks as assigned.
- To assist skilled maintenance employees and perform minor repairs to equipment and buildings.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Services or the Supervisor of Maintenance.
