In this vital role, you’ll:
- Supervise and mentor Centralized Intake Workers as they handle high-stakes calls and conduct in-depth interviews about possible maltreatment.
- Plan and oversee the centralized intake process, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and swift action.
- Assess urgent situations and determine when protective services must intervene to protect children and vulnerable adults.
- Serve as an advisor and problem-solver for complex and sensitive cases.
- Coordinate with law enforcement in emergency situations requiring immediate response.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation and mandatory overtime to ensure seamless, round-the-clock protection.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time social work experience in a public or private human services agency.
- Experience Substitution: Additional education may substitute for the required experience based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
