We are looking for experienced volleyball players and coaches with a background in collegiate play (D1, D2, or D3) or previous coaching experience. Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective training programs tailored to the skill levels of the athletes.
- Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on fundamental skills, strategy, and teamwork.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance.
- Organize and supervise competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a cohesive athletic program.
- Monitor student-athlete progress and provide guidance on physical education principles.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and behavior management strategies.
Job Summary

Skills
- Supervise team members during practices and games, ensuring a productive and structured training environment.
- Provide age-appropriate training and skill development, focusing on volleyball fundamentals, techniques, and game strategies.
- Motivate and encourage players with a positive mindset, building confidence, team spirit, and a love for the game.
- Conduct twice-weekly practices, emphasizing skill improvement, teamwork, and individual athlete progress.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and club staff to create a unified program that supports WVVC's mission and values as a new organization.
- Monitor athlete progress, offering guidance on physical education principles, conditioning, and injury prevention.
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols and managing behavior effectively during training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong volleyball skills and game knowledge; experience as a D1, D2, or D3 collegiate player is highly preferred.
- Previous coaching experience with a proven ability to teach, inspire, and develop young athletes.
- Exceptional motivational skills and a positive attitude, with a commitment to building a supportive and driven team culture.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to convey techniques and strategies effectively.
- Knowledge of youth sports safety practices, physical education principles, and conditioning relevant to volleyball.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with other coaches and staff.
