What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at West University Internal Medicine, PLLC?
Medical Assistant needed to float for internal medicine practice. Customer service is very important at this MDVIP practice! Our patients expect accuracy, attentiveness and professionalism all delivered with a smile!
Job expected to start mid July.
Must be experienced and proficient administering EKGs, vital signs, and basic vaccines. Must be comfortable drawing blood. The successful candidate will be articulate, accurate and attentive to detail. Some doctors have paper charts, so filing and pulling reports and charts will be required. Experience with Epic EMR is a plus, but not required. We ask for at least one year experience as a medical assistant in addition to externship. Experience with primary care is preferred.
You need to be able to work Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Enjoy an early Friday! Friday hours are 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. NO weekends! Attendance and punctuality are important to keep this position.
