Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Accounting & Operations Specialist to support our financial and operational functions. This role plays a key part in managing accounts receivable/payable, job costing, and overall financial accuracy while supporting broader business needs as they arise. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who can pivot between responsibilities, work independently, and contribute to multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections

· Manage accounts payable (AP), including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments

· Perform job costing analysis to track project profitability and identify cost trends

· Assist with project billing and reconciliation of completed jobs

· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

· Support reporting for management and operations

· Assist with additional administrative, financial, or operational duties as needed

· Collaborate with team members across departments to keep projects running efficiently

Qualifications

· Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or construction accounting

· Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting preferred

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (or willingness to learn)

· Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

· Willingness to adapt and pivot across roles and responsibilities as business needs evolve
