- Proactively recruit new members through outreach, networking, and relationship development
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of membership prospects and leads
- Lead membership sales efforts from first contact to close
- Represent WTHBA at industry events, meetings, and community functions to generate new business
- Develop and execute strategic retention initiatives to maintain and grow membership
- Maintain regular, meaningful contact with members to ensure engagement and satisfaction
- Lead renewal efforts with a focus on on-time renewals and long-term retention
- Identify at-risk members and implement proactive retention strategies
- Drive revenue through sponsorship sales and event partnerships
- Actively sell sponsorship opportunities across WTHBA programs and events
- Build relationships with members and industry partners to expand investment
- Track and manage sponsor commitments and renewals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership and sales data
- Track leads, conversions, renewals, and revenue performance
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on membership trends, sales activity, and key metrics
- Use data to identify opportunities and improve performance
- Oversee the onboarding of new members to ensure a strong first experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact for member needs and inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams to align programming with member value
- Work closely with leadership to execute membership and revenue growth strategies
- Contribute to marketing efforts that support recruitment and retention
- Bring new ideas and energy to continuously improve the membership experience

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, membership development, or business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, retention, or revenue goals
- Established relationships within the Lubock business community (or other similar-sized community), particularly among owners, executives, and key decision-makers
- Experience using CRM or database systems to manage leads, members, and reporting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for meetings, events, and outreach
