What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Helper position at West Texas Gate Services LLC?
We are looking for a professional and reliable person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and willing to learn. The position will require a lot of on-the-spot decision-making and an ability to multitask effectively.
You will be exposed to the outdoor elements... Summer is the busy season.
You will be WORKING in the heat/cold!
Just a few things we expect-
- digging holes and trenches
- fence building
- welding and fabrication (if able, we are willing to teach)
- Load and unload heavy materials
- Service calls and site checks with lead Tech
- duties not limited to this list of items
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to hear and comprehend what your supervisor is explaining are essential.
You will be trained to become a lead tech and must be able to move into that role when ready.
A positive attitude and a reliable person are a must; our customer's happiness is our main goal, and we will not tolerate disrespectful or vulgar employees.
Clean and well groomed, clothes clean with no significant holes, boots are needed.
We are a small local company growing fast and need people to grow with us!
Pay depends on proven experience and will increase as your abilities are shown.
1st 90 days is a probation period, and can be let go if you do not meet our standards without notice.
1-week vacation after one year.
PTO is Available after 90 days

- Ability to load and unload materials efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with field tasks
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
-Able to accece the Air Force Base is a must.
