What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Upholstery Technician - 2nd Shift position at West Star Aviation, LLC?
Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. The shift incentive includes a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, and 3-day weekends.

What you can expect as an Interior Upholstery Technician at West Star:
As an interior upholstery technician you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment and reinstallation of interior upholstery components on world class business aircraft. Some of the tasks required include general upholstery on aircraft - seats, panels and other interior items. Our upholstery techs are also responsible for removal and installation of seats, disassembly, cleaning, repair and modifications of components as needed. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of that project.

You Will Be ESSENTIAL To Many FUNCTIONS Including
- Performing basic to advanced foam build ups, patterning and sewing of seat parts and other upholstery items..
- Ability to perform minor modifications,
- Perform daily turnover sheets
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
- Cleanliness of shop and surroundings
- Work independently when required
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
