The following position is available in the West Springfield Public School system: SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONALSEBS Program (Social Emotional Behavioral)West Springfield Middle SchoolDuties: *Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning*Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students*Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned*Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher*Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction*Other duties as may be assignedQualifications: *Associates Degree or 48 college credits or Workkeys certification completed*Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed*Such alternatives found to be appropriate*Certification in First Aid Certification and CPR preferredWork Schedule: Full Time: thirty (30) hours per week. Salary: Hourly per Unit D contract (salary range: $17.67/hr - $22.96/hr)
