Role Description The Colorado Licensed Acupuncturist will provide direct patient care, including intake assessments, acupuncture treatments, and follow-up visits in an on-site community clinic setting in Grand Junction, CO. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient history, developing treatment plans, administering acupuncture and adjunct therapies, and documenting all care in accordance with state and clinic standards. The role involves educating patients on holistic wellness, treatment options, and self-care strategies, while maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive environment. The acupuncturist will collaborate with clinic staff to support smooth operations, ensure clean and safe treatment spaces, and participate in occasional team meetings or community outreach. This is a part-time, on-site position with a schedule that may include daytime, evening, or weekend hours depending on clinic needs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Oriental Medicine, with the ability to integrate traditional and modern approaches to patient care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Acupuncture, including assessment, needling techniques, and treatment planning.
• Experience with complementary modalities such as Cupping and Herbs, and the ability to use them safely and appropriately.
• Active Colorado Acupuncture license in good standing and graduation from an accredited acupuncture or Oriental medicine program.
• Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care for diverse patient populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain treatments clearly and build therapeutic rapport.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, including accurate charting and adherence to clinic protocols.
• CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with infection control and clean needle technique best practices.
