Position Title: Driver Recruiter

Position Reports to: Director of Recruiting

Position Summary: Recruiting Class-A truck drivers for a variety of divisions within our operations using a combination of sales, communication, organizational, and digital skills. This is a fast paced and ever-evolving environment based on hiring goals and quotas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

1. Accept, process and contact applicants to qualify and persuade drivers to work for us. Adhere to internal hiring guidelines and federal regulations surrounding the trucking industry.

1. Matching candidates to internal job postings through consultation, rapport building, and utilizing industry terms and ideas to properly connect with drivers. Understand geographical and logistics related concepts.

1. Persistent work ethic with ability to receive and execute on coaching and direction to meet goal-based deadlines. 

1. Interface with our Safety, Operations, and Onboarding departments with respect to hiring and retention efforts  

1. Developing higher level skills as a professional recruiter such as the ability to recognize serious and qualified candidates efficiently and decisively. 

1. Be flexible and adapt to the changes in our offerings and in our process, the ability to pivot from one goal to another without losing productivity

Qualifications Requirements:

Education and Experience: Two years of recruiting or sales and customer service experience required. 

Skills and Abilities: Must have strong computer skills, specifically using Office 365 programs with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Teams and Sharepoint. Excellent interpersonal and persuasion talents with a strong phone presence. The ability to work within a small team dynamic. Most importantly, the willingness and ability to learn and be trainable in the way we do business. 

Physical Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.  Long periods of sitting and use of telephone and PC required.

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
