Description
West Side Pediatrics is seeking a full-time medical assistant for our busy pediatric office. Our providers offer exceptional care for children throughout the tri-state area. We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals who love children and are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Diploma from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Competency in basic medical assisting skills. This includes taking vital signs, injection administration, medication administration, performing hearing and vision tests, capillary sticks, and other lab testing.
- Other duties include assisting providers with exams, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
- Must possess strong working knowledge of medical terminology, effective written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to incorporate administrative tasks.
- EMR experience preferred.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
