About us
West Side Bar & Grill is located in the hear of down town West Springfield, MA. We are a full service restauraunt with a large bar seeking to add a few more servers/bartenders. Must have experience, a good additude, and we willing to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages and bar supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and cash handling
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Ability to handle difficult situations with customers in a professional manner
Note: Experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or the food industry is preferred but not required.
