Job Overview
This position is for a non-traditional Pharmacy Technician / Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in supporting medication dispensing, patient care, and pharmacy operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You'll be responsible for answering phones, calling patients, medication packaging, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication packaging
- Manage medication inventory, restocking supplies, and verifying stock accuracy to maintain seamless pharmacy operations.
- Support patient intake processes by accurately documenting medical information
- Provide excellent patient service by answering telephones and ensuring a positive experience for all patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensation, inventory logs in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Experience
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail are required
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is NOT required
- Strong patient service and excellent telephone skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
