At West Salem Family Practice, you’ll work with an experienced physician and help care for their personal patient panel. We are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term position. We pride ourselves on maintaining an office where staff feel like family, and almost all of our staff have been with us for >5 years.

Core Clinical Duties

  • Patient Intake: Room patients, record accurate medical histories, and measure vital signs (BP, pulse, temp, weight).
  • Provider Support: Assist physicians with minor bedside procedures, examinations, and medical treatments.
  • Injections: Administer routine injections.
  • Lab Work: Perform basic on-site laboratory testing, collect specimens, and perform phlebotomy/venipuncture as required.


Administrative Duties

  • Documentation: Promptly and accurately document all patient encounters using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Manage prescription refill requests, specialized test documentation, and specialist referrals.
  • Supplies Management: Keep clinical inventory stocked and report equipment maintenance needs.


Job Requirements

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Certification: Active CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required (or obtainment within 60 days of hire).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the workday.

Salary : $25 - $30
