Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic flooring retail team. The ideal candidate should have some flooring retail experience or interior design experience and will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and promoting our products.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products to meet their needs.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging conversation
• Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Uphold high standards of store presentation, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the retail space.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Be able to learn and work with our software, which will require some computer skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Be able to work on the computer.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this skill can enhance customer interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective customer engagement and relationship building.
