The CAD Designer will work with other members of the West River Conveyors design team and computer software to create accurate and precise design drawings of our products.

The CAD Designer will work with other members of the West River Conveyors design team and computer software to create accurate and precise design drawings of our products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with CAD systems creating and modifying 2D & 3D drawings for use by other departments and customers.
- Work closely with other departments in the company to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information.
- Self-check own work for completeness and accuracy.
- May be responsible for some design work.
- Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings or specifications.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year technical school
- 2-3 years of experience with 2D CAD software
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 year(s) experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- 1-year experience with 3D modeling software
