Transport Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Transport Driver to join our team! Duties

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, buses, limousines, shuttle vans, and passenger vehicles to transport clients or goods.
• Follow GPS navigation systems and pre-planned routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip.
• Load and unload cargo or luggage carefully, utilizing proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns or delays.

Requirements

• Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving transportation of goods or passengers.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for buses or limousines).
• Experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousines, or school buses preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cargo handling.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations at the local, state, and federal levels related to passenger and commercial vehicle operation.
• Experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple stops efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
