Build Your Physical Therapy Career With One-on-One Care, Pelvic Health Mentorship, and a Schedule Built to Last

You became a Physical Therapist to evaluate movement, solve problems, build meaningful patient relationships, and help people return to the activities that matter most to them.

At West Portland Physical Therapy, you will have the time and clinical freedom to do that work well.

You will provide one-on-one Physical Therapy with no double-booking, giving you the time to complete thorough evaluations, make thoughtful clinical decisions, provide hands-on care, educate your patients, and progress treatment based on what each person actually needs.

Your primary focus will be pelvic health Physical Therapy for men and women across the lifespan, while maintaining clinical variety through orthopedic, vestibular, neurologic, post-operative, balance, sports rehabilitation, and active aging cases.

Whether you are already experienced in pelvic health or want to develop stronger pelvic health skills, you will receive structured mentorship, bi-weekly case review, continuing education support, MedBridge access, and collaboration with experienced Physical Therapists.

If you want to practice high-quality Physical Therapy, continue developing your clinical skills, and have a schedule that leaves room for your life outside of work, we would like to meet you.

Practice Physical Therapy One Patient at a Time

Your schedule should allow you to be a Physical Therapist, not simply manage patient volume.

At West Portland Physical Therapy, you will work directly with one patient at a time.

That means you will have more opportunity to:

  • Complete thorough Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Understand each patient's goals, symptoms, and functional limitations.
  • Use your clinical judgment to build individualized plans of care.
  • Provide hands-on treatment when appropriate.
  • Progress therapeutic exercise thoughtfully.
  • Educate patients throughout their recovery.
  • Adjust treatment based on patient response.
  • Build stronger patient relationships.
  • Focus on meaningful functional outcomes.

You will have the time to think clinically, communicate clearly, and provide individualized Physical Therapy without balancing multiple patients at the same time.

Develop Deeper Pelvic Health Expertise

Pelvic health Physical Therapy will be a major part of your caseload.

You will work with men and women across the lifespan and help patients address conditions that can significantly affect movement, function, confidence, and quality of life.

Your pelvic health work may include:

  • Comprehensive pelvic health Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Individualized plans of care.
  • Patient education.
  • Progressive therapeutic exercise.
  • Functional rehabilitation.
  • Symptom management.
  • Return-to-activity planning.
  • Ongoing reassessment and treatment progression.
  • Collaboration on complex pelvic health cases.

You do not need to know everything on day one.

If you are interested in pelvic health and want to continue developing your skills, you will have access to mentorship, clinical collaboration, case review, and continuing education support.

Experienced pelvic health Physical Therapists will also have the opportunity to continue advancing their expertise while practicing in an environment centered around individualized care.

Keep Building Your Full Physical Therapy Skill Set

Pelvic health will be an important focus, but it will not be your only opportunity to practice and grow.

Depending on your background and clinical interests, your Physical Therapy caseload may also include:

  • Orthopedic Physical Therapy
  • Sports rehabilitation.
  • Post-operative rehabilitation.
  • Vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Concussion care.
  • Neurologic rehabilitation.
  • Balance and fall-risk treatment.
  • Active aging populations.

You will have the opportunity to develop specialized pelvic health expertise while continuing to strengthen your broader Physical Therapy clinical reasoning and treatment skills.

As a Physical Therapist at West Portland Physical Therapy, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one Physical Therapy with no double-booking.
  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Treat pelvic health patients across the lifespan.
  • Provide evidence-based Physical Therapy treatment.
  • Progress therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients about their condition, treatment plan, home recommendations, and progress.
  • Help patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive pelvic health concerns.
  • Treat orthopedic and additional rehabilitation populations based on your experience and interests.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other Physical Therapists on complex cases.
  • Participate in mentorship and clinical case review.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Complete documentation during the workday whenever possible.
  • Build patient relationships centered around trust, education, communication, and meaningful outcomes.

Grow With Mentorship and Clinical Support

Strong Physical Therapists continue learning throughout their careers.

You will have access to a team and development structure designed to help you continue becoming a more confident and capable clinician.

Your support will include:
